CRIME ALERT- Public Notification

CrimeALERT: Burglary - 200 Block of Willard Way On July 7, 2022 at 8:08 a.m., The Ithaca Police Department responded to the 200 block of Willard Way for a burglary complaint that occurred on July 6, 2022 at around 3:15 a.m. It was reported that an unknown person pried open a ground floor window and took property before leaving the area on a bicycle traveling South. The male suspect was described as having a thin build, wearing blue jeans, grey t-shirt, hat, sneakers, and a dark colored glove on his right hand. Anyone with information related to this crime is asked to contact the Ithaca Police Department at (607) 272-9973. The Cornell University Police Department can be contacted at (607) 255-1111. Cornell University Police urge the community to report any property damage and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app. At 3:45 p.m. on July 7, 2022 Ithaca Police notified Cornell University Police of the investigation.
