CRIME ALERT- Public Notification

CrimeALERT: CrimeAlert: Motor Vehicle Theft On October 5, 2022, at approximately 8:45 AM the Cornell University Police Department responded to a motor vehicle theft complaint at 621 University Avenue, the Red Bud Parking Lot, which is located on the main Ithaca Campus. The responding officer made contact with the complainant who stated that the vehicle was left unattended between the hours of 9 PM on October 4, 2022, and 8:30 AM on October 5, 2022, with the keys in the vehicle. The vehicle, described as a 2008 Grey Honda Odyssey with a Pennsylvania license plate number of FLL5914, was taken from the parking lot at the above location without the owner's permission. At this time, there is no description of the suspect or suspects. If you have any information regarding this crime, please contact the Cornell University Police Department at (607) 255-1111. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and closing vehicle doors and windows, do not leave keys in unoccupied motor vehicles, and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity by dialing 911 or utilizing the RAVE Guardian app.
