CRIME ALERT- Public Notification

CrimeALERT: Sexual Assault – North Campus On December 1, 2023, at 10:38 p.m., the Cornell University Police Department received a report of a sexual assault. The victim reported that she was between Ganedago Hall and Toni Morrison Hall at approximately 5:00 p.m. on December 1, 2023, when four males approached her. One of the males put his hand over his face and touched the victim’s private body parts without consent. The group then fled in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a college-age male wearing a backpack. No additional information is available. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact the Cornell University Public Safety Communications Center at (607)255-1111. Cornell Police firmly believes that crime is never the fault of the victim. Cornell Police reminds the community to walk in groups and utilize the RAVE Guardian app when on or near campus.
