Crime ALERT: Sexual Assault – Edgemoor Lane, City of Ithaca On November 8, 2024, the Cornell University Police Department received a report of a sexual assault. The victim reported the incident occurred on October 25, 2024, or during the early morning hours on October 26, 2024, in the 100 block of Edgemoor Lane in the City of Ithaca. The victim reported being sexually assaulted by several males and coerced into consuming ketamine and other drugs. The fraternity where this incident occurred has been temporarily suspended, effective immediately. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact the Cornell University Public Safety Communications Center at (607) 255-1111. Cornell Police firmly believes that crime is never the fault of the victim. Cornell Police reminds the community to walk in groups and utilize the RAVE Guardian app when on or near campus.
